From VLE to Pervasive LE
Course 1: From the Virtual Learning Environment to the pervasive learning environment (Yvan Peter, Thomas Vantroys, LIFL, Lille)
The rising generation of Learning Management Systems or Virtual Learning Environment are built according to a Service Oriented Architecture approach. This approach facilitates the deployment of adapted learning environment based on the aggregation and orchestration of the services needed by an organisation. This level of maturity has not been reached already in the field of mobile learning. During the course we will present the technological basis that permit the building of mobile adaptive learning environments as well as practical examples of uses.
